October 1, 2003: Conviction: In the
fifth-season opener, the gang adjusts to life after joining forces with
Wolfram & Hart. The team soon learns that, in business, evil is a
relative term and battles must be carefully chosen if the firm is to
remain operational and at their disposal. As the crew sifts through
client profiles in an effort to locate their first case, Angel is caught
off-guard by his new assistant.
October 8, 2003: Just Rewards: While the gang
tries to figure out how and why Spike has suddenly appeared in L.A.,
Angel tries to stop a Wolfram & Hart client from using corpses as
human vessels for demon spirits.
October 15, 2003: Unleashed: Angel races to
locate a young woman (Jenny Mollen) bitten by a werewolf before
the next full moon, when her transformation will make her dangerous to
some and appealing to others.
October 22, 2003: Hell Bound: As Fred works
nonstop to embody Spike, the gang links his unintentional disappearances
to an evil spirit who's feeding other specters to hell in an effort to
delay its own descent into the torturous realm.
October 29, 2003: Life of the Party: In
addition to handling Wolfram & Hart's celebrity clients, Lorne is
also in charge of the firm's annual Halloween bash, an event he's having
a devil of a time getting the gang to commit to attending. But as soon
as his pals show up at the party, they suddenly submit to his every
suggestion.
November 5, 2003: The Cautionary Tale of Numero
Cinco: On the Mexican Day of the Dead, Angel has a run-in with a
Wolfram & Hart employee (Danny Mora) who's connected to an
Aztec warrior demon that thrives on the hearts of heroes. Elsewhere,
Spike researches the Shansu prophesy, while Angel wrestles with personal
issues.
November 12, 2003: Lineage: As the gang
investigates a team of cyborg assassins, Wes gets a visit from his
estranged father (Roy Dotrice), who brings news of a re-formed
Watchers' Council. But the social call soon sours when the elder
Wyndam-Pryce encounters Angel, who's the real reason he's in L.A..
November 19, 2003: Destiny: Drusilla (Juliet
Landau) returns in flashbacks that reveal more of Angel and Spike's
contentious past as the vamps race to find the Cup of Perpetual Torment
in hopes of fulfilling the Shanshu prophesy.
